The film tells the story about how to love and to be loved through the people in three different families.

– Khwan is the wife of a soldier stationed in the south of Thailand, quite dangerous because of the frequent islamic terrorist attacks in this region. Khwan cannot bear the thought that something can happen to her child living there, moreover the kid is determined to be a solider like his father
– Muay is from a Chinese family. Her grandfather started a small store of handmade shoes for a long time and still works on it. On the other hand, her father went further and started a big shoe factory. Her grandfather insists teaching her the job of creating handmade shoes to make her understand the essence of a good shoe.
